Calibrating the HS3

REQUIRED: 44lb calibration weight

#1. Remove the battery from the HS3
#2. Hold down the “ON” button & the “UNIT” button at the exact same time with the battery out of the scale.
#3. While holding down the “ON” & “UNIT” buttons you’ll, at the same time, put the battery back into the scale. It should automatically go into calibration mode at this point. You’ll know it’s in calibration mode because random numbers will show up on the digital screen in a single line fluctuating up and down. Once in calibration mode you can release the “ON” and “UNIT” buttons.
#4. At this point you’ll need to sit your scale on something that will hold the scale handle and also allow you to put your weight down below the scale for calibration.
#5. Once your scale is in a good position press the “ON” button once more (do not hold simply press and release the button at this point). The screen will start flashing “CAL” and also “44.1lb”. This means you are in the final stage of calibration and you’re ready for your weight.
#6. Sit your (44lb.) weight onto the scales hook and ensure the weight doesn’t swing back and forth. It needs to be put onto the scales hook very softly to ensure it gets a true (44lb.) reading. Note: to put the weight onto the hook you can attach the weight to the hook using a strong piece of string or rope. Ensure the weight doesn’t touch the ground because you will need all 44lbs on the hook to get an accurate calibration.
#7. Keep the weight on the scale until the screen reads “PASS”. At that point the scale has been re-calibrated and is ready to be used once again. Install the battery cover back onto the scale and you’ll be ready to go.

If for some reason the scale never says “PASS”. Start over from step one and ensure the weight is put onto the scale softly and ensure it doesn’t swing back and forth. If the weight is moving back and forth it will not calibrate as it’s not allowing it to get a true reading.

Calibrating the HS2

REQUIRED: 44lb calibration weight

#1. Remove the battery from the HS2
#2. Hold down the “ON” button
#3. While holding down the “ON” button you’ll, at the same time, put the battery back into the scale.
#4. At this point you’ll need to sit your scale on something that will hold the handle and also allow you to put your weight down below the scale for calibration.
#5. Once your scale is in a good position press the “ON” button once more (do not hold simply press and release at this point).
#6. Sit your (44lb.) weight onto the scales hook and ensure the weight doesn’t swing back and forth. It needs to be put onto the scales hook very softly to ensure it gets a true (44lb.) reading.
#7. Keep the weight on the scale until the screen reads “PASS”. At that point the scale has been re-calibrated and is ready to be used once again.

If for some reason the scale never says “PASS”. Start over from step one and ensure the weight is put onto the scale softly and ensure it doesn’t swing back and forth. If the weight is moving back and forth it will not calibrate as it’s not allowing it to get a true reading.

Calibrating the Pro Grain Scale

REQUIRED: 200.00g calibration weight

#1. Turn on the scale
#2. Ensure your scale is sitting on a flat, solid, surface
#3. Once the scale is zeroed, hold the “MODE” button for 3 seconds
#4. The screen will flash “CAL” which means you’re now in CALIBRATION mode
#5. After that the screen will then start repeatedly flashing “200.00g”
#6. At that time you’ll simply sit your 200g calibration weight on the scale until it flashes “PASS”
#7. Once the scale flashes “PASS” you’re good to use the scale
#8. If this process does not work restart from step #1 and try the steps again

Calibrating the LCA Bow Scale 2.0

REQUIRED: 44lb calibration weight

#1. Remove the batteries from your scale

#2. Install one battery back into the scale unit

#3. Hold the ON/OFF button

#4. Put the other battery back into the unit while holding the ON/OFF button

#5. When you hold the ON/OFF button and then install the second battery it’ll put the scale into calibration mode. This mode simply shows random numbers going up and down on the screen once into the mode.

#6. At this point, you’ll need to set the scale on a hook or something that will hold it in the air.

#7. Once on a hook and in the air press (and release) the ON/OFF button once more and CAL will come up on the screen and immediately following that 44lbs will start flashing.

#8. Now, simply sit your 44lb weight onto the hook of the scale (very slowly so it doesn’t swing etc) until PASS shows.

#9. Once PASS shows up on screen you are good and your scale has been re-calibrated. If for some reason the 44lb number keeps flashing and PASS does not show up this means that you need to re-start the process and the scale was not able to read the weight correctly. As long as you sit the weight on the hook slowly it should read it good without issue.
